To create a community-wide annual event where residents can release furniture, household goods, and excess belongings with confidence, knowing their donations will directly help local families in need.

Mission

The Letting Go Project is designed to:

• Help individuals and families let go of items they no longer need.

• Reduce the stress and overwhelm that often comes with decluttering and life transitions.

• Support local families by providing quality furniture and household essentials.

• Keep usable items out of local landfills.

• Strengthen our community through generosity and collaboration.

• Raise awareness of both A New Dawn Solutions and the Furniture Mission while serving a greater purpose.

Why This Project Matters

For more than four years, A New Dawn Solutions has helped individuals and families throughout our region navigate decluttering, downsizing, move management, estate clearing, and many of life's major transitions.

Through this work, we've witnessed a common challenge: people genuinely want to donate their belongings, but they often feel overwhelmed by the process. They aren't sure what to keep, what to let go of, where items should go, or whether their donations will truly make a difference.

The Letting Go Project was created to remove those barriers.

This community initiative provides a simple, meaningful way for people to release furniture, household goods, and other usable belongings while knowing their donations will directly benefit neighbors in need. By making the donation process easier, we can help families move forward, reduce unnecessary waste, and give quality items a meaningful second life.
